What is LASIK?
Refractive eye surgery is an eye surgery used to improve the refractive state of the eye and decrease or eliminate dependency on glasses or contact lenses.
Who can consider for LASIK?
LASIK is a type of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. However, it depends on the corneal thickness of patient. The maximal treatment can be up to -15 dioptre.
Who are not suitable for LASIK?
If you have any pre-existing eye disease or autoimmune disease, you may not fit for the surgery. Please consult your ophthalmologist for advice.
